A Must Hear is a mobile platform that transforms live music into an interactive experience. Instead of shouting requests from the crowd, audiences can discover artists, request songs, support performers, and become part of the performance — all from their phones.
Live performances thrive on audience energy, but traditional song requests often interrupt the flow of a show. A Must Hear bridges that gap by giving listeners a simple way to interact with performers while allowing artists to stay in control of their setlist.
The platform creates a shared experience where every request, vote, and interaction feels like part of the performance rather than a distraction.
Every feature was designed around a specific moment during a live event.
The core interaction of the platform. Instead of requesting songs verbally, audience members can browse an artist's catalogue, search for tracks, and submit requests directly from the app. This creates a transparent request queue while reducing interruptions for performers.
Design Focus
Some audience members want their song played sooner. Skip the Line introduces premium requests that allow users to prioritize their song while leaving the final decision entirely with the performer. The experience was designed so monetization feels optional rather than intrusive.

Fans often want a closer connection with performers. This feature enables premium interactions that go beyond song requests, creating opportunities for exclusive engagement during live events.

Live performances are memorable because they happen once. Capture the Moment allows users to record short memories directly within the app while preserving the atmosphere of the event. The feature encourages sharing without taking attention away from the performance itself.

Throughout the project, several design principles guided every decision.
Designing A Must Hear taught me that the best event experiences don't replace human interaction — they enhance it.
By balancing audience participation with performer control, I explored how thoughtful product design can strengthen live entertainment while preserving the energy that makes every performance unique.
